Winter Kisses.

So, like 90% of people this time of year I've been struck down with the dreaded lurgy! The snotty nose and headaches I can deal with but my lips being so dry that they crack and bleed drives me insane. Not only because it looks gross but it's sore and irritating. I'm one of those infuriating people that if there's a loose piece of skin I have to pick it so you see my predicament!

Firstly, I always try and keep myself hydrated. I drink water throughout the day in work anyway to help with my abysmal weight loss but the fact that it soothes my lips for a minute is even better. I've used so many different types of lip care when I've been in this situation. Normal lip gloss which was about as useful as a chocolate tea pot. The tiny tubs of aloe Vera Vaseline which was okay but dried up very fast and needed to be reapplied every ten minutes. Right now I'm using plain old chap stick. Lemon flavoured because that's all they had and it does what it's supposed to do but there is nothing special about it.

What do you use to repair cold damaged lips?

I would love to get hold of some of the lush lip scrub to use but not until they've healed a little first.

Winter Wishlist!

If I had the money, this outfit would be in my wardrobe to wear this winter. Probably not practical for the weather but my god, it looks good!

The leather look trousers are from new look, theres a panel down the side and they look more like leggings than trousers.

I love open weaved jumpers, wear it with a cute black (or leopard print if you're feeling it) vest top and it looks simple but fab.

Military boots are always going to be a big part of 'alternative' fashion. The heel isn't too high and I like the buckle detail at the top!

I have a pair of ear muffs that were cheap from Tesco but i'm in love with these adorable ear muffs from Top Shop. Very cute. 

This leather Jacket is one of the nicest of the cheaper cuts I could find. If I had the money for it I would buy it and probably wear it every day. Zips + Studs = A very happy Andie!

Hello everyone, I've decided to create myself a brand new blog because my old one was horridly neglected, had no real purpose and started to just become drivel. I've obsessed myself lately with the bbloggers and fbloggers hash tags on twitter and decided this is the direction in which I want my blog to take, with a few lifestyle posts thrown in for good measure!

I have unfortunately chosen a difficult time to decide to do this as I am in between moving house/getting a new job and I am just about to sell my beautiful iMac computer. It's a wrench to do it but I need the money much more than I need a fancy computer! I will be saving for a cheap laptop after Christmas but I will be blogging from my iPhone or from someone else's computers in the mean time.

It is 2 weeks till my 22nd birthday tomorrow and I am very excited. My wonderful girlfriend has paid for a limo and bought me a gorgeous dress. A bargain too if I do say so myself. It's from www.boohoo.com and I was very unsure about it at first. Not sure that it would suit me with the size that I am and with all my tattoos but Zoe convinced me and bought it for me. This is the dress (I will add a link when I can get to a computer) and I will post a picture of me in it when I can. (I doubt I'll look as good as the model but never mind!)
